The Bed & Breakfast La Dimora del Centro, opened in 2009, is located in the heart of Florence, in a historic building dating back to 1890, which was once the seat of the main florentine newspapers such as La Nazione and where Eugenio Montale used to write his poems, sitting at a table of the famous Cafe Giubbe Rosse.
The B&B is composed by three bedrooms and a tea room (Lavinia) with a coffee-tea-infusion complimentary set completely free for guests. Breakfast is included and is served in the Bar-Pasticceria on the ground floor.
The structure has also a convention with the garage Inferno, only 500mt away from the B&B: you have to pay only 26 euros per day (24 hours) if you have a medium sized car and 30 euros if you have a s.w., suv, monovolume.

The B&B La Dimora del Centro offers 9 rooms with all the comforts: private bathroom, adjustable air conditioning (warm/cold air), Satellite Tv, Lcd Tv, Mini bar, in-room safe, daily cleaning, bed linen and towel change every 3 days.
All rooms on request are equipped with PC with internet connection (only 5 euros per day)and direct phone.

The B&B La Dimora del Centro, in Republica Square, offers a beautiful sight over the "Cupolone" (Brunelleschi’s Dome), the “Campanile di Giotto” (the bell tower designed by Giotto) and is located only a few steps from the main squares and monuments of the city centre: Piazza del Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Galleria degli Uffizi, Palazzo Vecchio, Museo del Bargello, Palazzo Strozzi, Chiesa di Orsammichele, Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti, as well as from the most elegant shopping streets: Via dè Tornabuoni, Via della Vigna Nuova, Via Roma e Via dei Calzaiuoli.
